The Department of Agriculture has issued a warning over the risk of African Swine Fever spreading to Ireland.
Anyone who is travelling back into the country from abroad is being urged not to bring back any pork-based products.
Contaminated meat could affect almost 1.7 million pigs in Ireland.
Ireland is free of #AfricanSwineFever. However, we cannot be complacent.
It is vital we keep this disease out for the sake of our pigs, our pig farmers and our Agri-food industry.
