Do Not Swim advice has been issued for Lahinch Beach in County Clare.
The local authority says water samples have shown elevated levels of bacteria.
On the advice of the HSE, Clare County Council has today put an Advisory Notice with advice not to swim at Lahinch until further notice.

Clare County Council took the advice of the HSE, and has advised on swimmers not to swim until further notice.
Clare County Council says it is just precautionary advice not to swim and is not a prohibition.
