Dublin's St Patrick's Day Parade has been cancelled.

It's the second year in a row that the covid-19 pandemic has forced organisers to call the event off.

Instead, a virtual parade will take place online this year.

The St Patrick's Day Festival will run between March 12th and 17th.

People will be able to watch all of these events on ‘SPF TV’, a St. Patrick’s Festival TV Channel, which will be located at www.stpatricksfestival.ie

Organisers say there will be an official programme of events announced in the coming weeks.
