A man in his 80s has died following a crash at Coolcullen, Co. Kilkenny last night.
He's become the 10th fatality on Irish roads in 8 days.
It happened when the car he was driving left the road and collided with a pole sometime between 7 and 8pm.
His body was removed from the scene and taken to University Hospital Waterford.
The road is currently closed while Garda Forensic Collision Investigators examine the scene.
