Gardaí now believe missing Kerry farmer Michael Gaine is dead.
The case has been reclassified as a homicide, and Gardaí are again appealing for information on his disappearance.
The 54 year old was last seen a Centra shop near Kenmare town on Thursday March 20th last.

His Toyota Rav 4 jeep was found at his farmyard the following day and he was reported missing.
After a five week search involving Gardaí, the Army and specialist divers, the investigation into Michael Gaine's disappearance has been reclassified to a homicide.
130 witness statements have been taken and over 2000 hours of CCTV footage have been examined.

Gardaí are again appealing for information and believe there are people who 'know what happened'. Any information received will be treated in the strictest confidence.
Michael's family has been updated about the change in status of the investigation and they continue to be supported by a Family Liaison Officer.
