Gardaí have renewed a warning about ticket scams online, following reports of number of incidents in the last few weeks.
Detectives are investigating allegations of online fraud, relating to the resale of event tickets reported in recent weeks.
Gardaí re reminding people to be wary if they're offered a 'resale' ticket to a sold-out event through unauthorised third-parties.
In a statement, Gardaí warned people to not trust that the tickets you believe you are purchasing are real. "
It is likely that they will not materialise and in fact, do not exist".
People are also being urged to never send money in advance, or through apps.
Gardaí also want people to come forward if they've been caught out.
Suspected cases of ticket scams can be reported it at your local Garda Station in-person or freephone on 1800 666 111.
