The head of the Department of Health was warned about an almost 400 million euro potential overrun at the National Children's Hospital as early as last September.
The scandal didn't become public until December 2018.
Minutes of the Children’s Hospital Project and Programme Board meeting in September show significant concern was raised about the cost of the project.
The government has insisted it didn't know that there would be a 450 million euro overrun at the Children's Hospital until November 9th last year.
