Gardaí are investigating the death of a teenage boy at the Powerscourt Estate in Co Wicklow.
The incident happened at approximately 2.30pm on Wednesday.
The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to the mortuary at St Columcille’s Hospital, Loughlinstown.
A post-mortem is set to be carried out.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing however, it is believed the incident is being treated as a tragic accident.
