A video of the incident, which took place shortly after 4pm last Thursday, November 18th, at a Grafton Street premises, was widely shared online.
Gardai say a man, who wasn't wearing a face-covering inside the store, became abusive to staff working there, before leaving and returning ten minutes later and continuing to be abusive.
Officers say when he left for the final time, it's believed he headed in the direction of College Green, and gardaí now want to speak to a member of the public who is alleged to have been attacked by the man as he left the premises.
