Irish actress Jessie Buckley has won a Golden Globe award.
She was named best actress in the 'movie drama category' at the ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The Kerry native plays Agnes Hathaway, William Shakespeare's wife in the film adaptation of the Maggie O'Farrell novel, Hamnet.

Hamnet also won 'best motion picture drama' at the ceremony in Beverly Hills.
Irish actor Paul Mescal, didn't win in the best supporting actor category for his performance as William Shakespeare.
The President and the Taoiseach are among those congratulating Jessie Buckley on her win.
President Catherine Connolly also paid tribute to Paul Mescal, Maggie O'Farrell, Element Pictures and Wild Atlantic Pictures on their nominations.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin says Jessie's win is richly deserved, and described her performance in Hamnet as powerful and captivating.
