Kneecap say their political comments during their performance at Coachella were not aggressive.

In a post on X, TV personality Sharon Osbourne, said they group's performance incorporated "aggressive political statements", about the conflict in Palestine and Israel.

In response, Kneecap said, "Statements aren't aggressive, murdering 20,000 children is though. Or executing 15 medics and burying them and their ambulances."

Ms Osbourne has called for the band's US working visas to be revoked, and said their behavior "raises concerns about the appropriateness of their participation in such a festival and further shows they are booked to play in the USA".

The Belfast-based band is due play a headline tour in the US in October, with 17 of 19 dates already sold out.
