A man in his 30s has been arrested in Cork, after three Garda cars were rammed by a van.
It happened in the Mahon and Carrs Hill area of the city, at around 9.45 pm last night.
Gardai say a number of children were in the van at the time of the incident. No serious injuries were reported but the passengers were taken to Cork University Hospital to be medically assessed.
Two gardai were injured in the incident and were taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment.
A man in his 30s was arrested and is being questioned at Bridewell Garda Station.
