A man is in a critical condition after being hit by a bicycle in Tipperary.
The collision happened at around 6:35 pm last night while the man was out walking at the N24, Glenconnor Upper in Clonmel.
The pedestrian, who is in his 70s, was taken to Tipperary General Hospital with serious head injuries.
Gardai say he is currently in a critical condition.
Gardaà at Clonmel are appealing for anyone with information in relation to the incident to contact them.
They are particularly interested in hearing from any road users who were travelling in the area and may have dashcam footage.
