A motorcyclist in his 20s has died in a road crash in Co. Cavan.
The single-vehicle collision happened on the R165 at Cornakill in Kingscourt at around 8 o'clock on Wednesday night.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was taken to the morgue at Cavan General Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
