A man has been injured in a shooting in Drogheda, County Louth.
The shooting happened at Hardman's Gardens in the town at 4:30pm this afternoon.
Gardaí are at the scene this evening.
The man is being treated for his injuries at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
These local residents said they thought they heard gunshots at around 4:25pm.
