Aiden, Bella and Darcy are some of the new storm names this year.
Met Eireann has issued its list which also includes Oscar, Veronica and Wilson.
The list has been compiled in collaboration with the Met offices in the UK and the Netherlands.
Some of the more unusual names on the list include Klaas, Ravi and Heulwen.
