Nine in ten teenage girls are silently struggling with anxiety and worry.
A survey of 1,000 12 to 19 year-olds found 89% of teenage girls carry anxiety or worry that nobody knows about.
The research by The Shona Project, shows widespread anxiety, pressure, and personal safety concerns.
The study, of young women and non-binary teenagers found almost four in five sometimes feel "no good at all", while 61% struggle with negative body image.
The survey found 70% say social media negatively affects their mental health, while two thirds feel school is not safe or welcoming to all.
One in five are concerned for their own safety, of whom 78% mentioned boys and men as the threat.
It's the first survey of its kind here which shows the pressure young women face.
