With just six seats left to fill in the Local Elections across the country, tensions are running high in the constituency of Bantry West Cork, where one vote separates two candidates.
On Sunday night, Independent candidate Finbarr Harrington appeared to be elected, however Social Democrat Holly McKeever Cairn called a recount after it emerged she was trailing by just one vote.
The results of that recount flipped that result leaving Holly McKeever Cairn poised to take the fourth and final seat, and a recount was called.
In the tale of the never ending election, the count is adjourned until tomorrow morning at 11am#LE19 #Bantry pic.twitter.com/WrPiqiI1eR
