The initial report into last month's Ethiopian Airlines plane crash says the aircraft repeatedly tried to nosedive.

The report shows the crew did respond correctly, however they could not control the aircraft.

Experts say the Boeing 7-3-7 Max 8 repeatedly nose-dived shortly after take-off from Addis Ababa.

All 157 people on board died, including one Irish man.

Michael Ryan, from Lahinch in Co. Clare  was on the flight bound for the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.

The same problem happened recently on a plane in Indonesia, which also crashed.

All the same type of jets have been grounded while Boeing fixes flight control software.
