Guitar great Eddie Van Halen has died at the age of 65.
His son Wolf has tweeted that he'd fought a long and arduous battle with throat cancer.

The Dutch-American musician was the main songwriter of the band Van Halen, which he co-founded in 1972.
It sold tens of millions of albums over the years.
