Broadhurst beat Algeria's Imane Khelif by unanimous decision to take gold in the light welterweight final.
O'Rourke won the light middleweight final thanks to a 4-1 victory over Helena Panguane of Mozambique.
They follow in the footsteps of Ireland's previous women's world champions Katie Taylor and Kellie Harrington.
