Met Eireann says temperatures could reach 25 degrees this weekend.

Warm dry weather is expected until at least next weekend, according to the National Forecaster.

It comes following a particularly dull month of July, with Dublin Airport recording it's dullest July for 24 years.

Thankfully, Met Eireann says all parts of the country can expect to experience warm dry spells with good sunshine.

Here's Met Eireann's outlook for the weekend:

SATURDAY

A dry day with warm spells of summer sunshine. Highest temperatures will range 18 to 23 degrees.

SUNDAY

Dry and calm with warm spells of sunshine, however, isolated heavy showers may occur later in the day. Top temperatures of 20 to 24 degrees.

Met Eireann is also warning there may be some thunder may occur on Monday and Tuesday as a result of the hot weather.
