Three men have been hospitalised after being stabbed in Ballinsloe, Co. Galway yesterday.
The altercation happened at around 7 pm yesterday evening in the Brackernagh area.
All three men, who are in their 20s, attended Portiuncula Hospital for treatment.
Two are still there receiving treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
One man (20s) has been arrested in connection with the incident.
He's being questioned at Ballinasloe Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Gardaí are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
They are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have information in relation to these assaults to contact them.
