Two boys have been injured in a road crash involving an e-scooter in Co Cavan.
It happened just after 7 o'clock on Tuesday evening, on the N87 near Black Ridge roundabout at Ballyconnell.
One of the boys was taken by helicopter to Temple Street Children's hospital in Dublin with serious injuries.
A second boy was brought to Cavan General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The N87 remained closed on Wednesday morning on the south side of Ballyconnell for a technical examination.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and local diversions are in place.
