WiFi is now available on Mt Kilimanjaro for climbers to share their accomplishments on social media.
Internet coverage is now available up to 3,720 metres up the mountain, with service set to be available at the almost 6,000 metre peak by the end of the year.
Announcing the news, Tanzania's information minister also said Internet access will also have safety benefits for explorers.
