Will Ferrell's costume from Elf is expected to sell for more than €100,000 at auction.
Buddy's the Elf's iconic fur-collared green jacket, yellow leggings and feathered hat, are expected to sell for between €113,000 and €228,000 in the Propstore Winter Entertainment live sale taking place in London at the start of next month.

Propstore Winter Entertainment, provides a detailed description of the costume the winning bidder will own.
The costume is made up of a "green boiled wool tunic with a white faux-fur collar and cuffs; a pair of yellow fleece-like stockings; a pair of green embroidered suspenders; and a pair of black leather shoes featuring curled toes".

"Both sides of the tunic's opening are decorated with an embroidered, green-and-gold flower filigree pattern, and 20 metal hook fastenings run down the front.
"There is also a large black leather belt with a stitched diamond pattern and a large metal buckle is attached to the tunic's waist via small snap buttons".
The costume is one of almost 1,500 pieces of film memorabilia for sale, which also includes a script from the film Die Hard, which has been heavily illustrated by the late actor Alan Rickman.
