Before you feast your eyes on this post we want you to do one thing. Grab a pen and paper or get ready to copy and paste because you are going to want to eat at least one of these when you get home.

It's that go to comfort food combination that makes you happy. For Muireann it's slices of Billy Rolly enveloped in golden sheets of Easi-Singles.

Food Comfort Heaven.

Here are Ireland's Favourite Comfort Food Combinations:

One of my favourite weird snacks is to get a large slice of ham, place a couple of cheeses slices to cover it, add a a “sausage” of coleslaw and roll it like a fajita. Ta da… instant low-carb ham and cheese roll. 😊 Banana and corned beef sandwiches are pretty cool too! Adrian

Sweet and sour sauce on top of pasta with grated cheddar cheese! Brian

My lunch I make when no-one is watching:
Sugar on toast and then a boiled egg on top! Lovely with a cup of tea! Gemma

Two slices of white loaf with two good spoons of Dolmio sauce cheese mashed potato ham mustard and Taytos and banged into the oven for five minutes and hopefully not falling asleep on the chair after coming home from a few pints!

Fish fingers, mash potato and a tin of tomatoes with salt.. Laura, Cavan

A bread roll with butter corned beef and ketchup and dip it into an oxtail hot cup.... Heaven. Martin Rice

Garlic naan bread and chocolate spread, also poppadoms and chocolate spread! Jay, Wexford

Cold Sheppard's pie sandwich's from Paul

Hi Muireann, my thing that I make when no one's around is.....2 slices of white bread with butter, you cut thick slices of cheddar cheese, and then pop it in the microwave....it's effectively hot bread with melted cheese.....but it's sooooo good. Eric

Hi Muireann bread butter and sugar does the job and even visiting the neighbors Id have it no shame at all. Ruth

Mature cheddar melted on toast x2 smothered in Alphabet Spaghetti in tomato sauce!

Peanut butter and mustard sandwich. Delicious.

Mushy peas - smash potatoes and Frey Benton steak and kidney pie yumm. Tracey in Dunleer co Louth
