A man in his late teens has been charged in connection with a serious assault at Electric Picnic.
Gardai investigating the attack in Stradbally in Co Laois on Friday the 2nd of September arrested a man yesterday morning.
A man in his 30s suffered serious injuries in the attack
The assault occurred sometime between 10pm on Friday and 12 midnight in the Today FM SoundGarden stage.
The man in his late teens was taken to Portlaoise Garda Station.
He was charged last night and released on bail to appear before Portlaoise District Court on Thursday the 27th of October.
