A 20-year man is due in court this morning charged in connection with an attempted abduction in Dublin.
A woman managed to escape after a man tried to force her into the boot of a car earlier this week.
At around half seven on Monday morning a woman in her 60s was approached by a man in the Martin's Grove/Blackhorse Avenue area near the Pheonix Park.
He tried to force her into the boot of a car but she managed to escape and the driver fled the scene.
On Tuesday, a 20-year-old man was arrested but was released from custody yesterday morning.
He was re-arrested yesterday evening when investigating officers went to the district court and applied for a warrant.
The man's due before Blanchardstown District Court later this morning.
