A teenage boy has died following a farm accident in Co. Clare.
It's believed the boy is 14 years old.
He died in an incident involving a tractor in the Milltown Malbay area of Clare.
It happened at around 9am this morning.
The young teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Health and Safety Authority have been notified.
Local councillor Shane Talty says the area is in shock:
"It's a terrible tragedy emerging today. For his family and all the wider community, there is a sense of grief and shock".
