COVID-19: 3,348 Further Cases In Ireland

There have been 3,348 further cases of COVID-19 reported in Ireland.

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) has been notified of 1,407 PCR-confirmed cases.

While yesterday, 1,941 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.

As of 8.00am today, 706 patients were hospitalised with the virus - a drop of 44 on yesterday's figures.

While 42 of these patients were in ICU, a drop of two in the last 24 hours.
